Navy is that one color that is so effortlessly chic no matter who wears it or how it’s worn. You just automatically look more put together whether you dress it up or down, in or out.
That said, here’s a fun fact side note: the first (and only) work suit I bought for a job interview was navy, because black seemed much too formal. (Maybe I’ll do a post about it in the future..?)
This Modcloth x Collectif pullover knit top is the only overtly Christmas item I have. Everything else I’ve posted so far can still work outside of the holiday season. But this one was too cute to pass up. I think a lot of other people felt the same way because unfortunately, it sold out quickly. There’s still a few sizes left on the Collectif website.
The highlight of the sweater is obviously the nutcracker, which is intricately detailed and embroidered. Also, I’ve been really into these skirt/pinafores lately. I like straps and buttons and plaid and skirts with pockets and this has it all! The skirt is still a little big, even though it’s an XS, but the length is just right, hitting just at the knee.
Also, enjoy my derpy dog who has yet to learn how to be photogenic.
