I bought this Modcloth cape over four years ago, and guess what? It still holds up. This particular one is obviously no longer in stock, but they brought back another similar one that’s on sale with an extra 40% off in cart, making it only $60! Nab it quick as the sale ends soon and sizes are running low. I guarantee you will be wearing it for years to come, as I have, because it’s a classic print with a modern silhouette.
The cape is already a statement piece, perfect for winter, so I let it speak for itself, pairing it with an all black ensemble. Confession, the turtleneck is more of a dark gray, but you’re not mad, right? I have this turtleneck in three colors because I seriously love the fit and it’s perfect for layering.
Also, these faux leather Spanx leggings are a closet staple (you’re going to be seeing them a lot this winter)! They are SUPER slimming, both physically, as they provide medium control for support with its mid-high rise, but also visually, as the glossy finish creates the illusion of legs for days. They go great with every outfit and are super comfortable. I will say, they are kind of thin, so it’s not ideal for super cold conditions unless you pile on some layers. However, I live in Los Angeles, so it works great for our “cold” weather.
