PUFF SLEEVE TOP s-m (c/o), POLKA DOT TULLE MAXI SKIRT s-m, GLITTER FLATS sz 7, COACH BELT xs, Oversized Sun Hat (Similar here and here)
Alright folks, this is now one of my favorite outfits! In my previous post, I mentioned how I’ve been pairing black with ivory a lot lately, and this is one of those pairings. The tulle skirt from Chicwish is made up of several layers and fully lined. It seems to be full circle, so you get A LOT of skirt. The description says it’s a maxi, but it hits around the ankles for me. In my book, that’s still considered maxi.
Pairing the skirt with this bubble sleeve top (c/o Chicwish) added DRAMA to the overall look. I got so many compliments while walking around Old Town Pasadena trying to look for a place to take pictures. It’s seriously such a unique, standout piece. The sleeves consist of two layers; the inner one fits closer to the body and provides structure to the sleeve, while the outer one is the voluminous puff. It also has little bows at the end, so so cute!
Rounding out the look is this oversized sun hat. Something about big hats makes me feel…wealthy..? Think Kate Winslet, when we see her for the first time in Titanic, getting out of the carriage to board the ship. That’s what wearing giant hats feels like to me. Also, you have to protect yourself from those harmful sun rays!
What do you think?
