HEART PATCH SWEATER s-m, MESH SKIRT s-m, COACH BELT xs, SUEDE PUMPS sz 7, TWEED CAP
I think love is caramel. Sweet and fragrant; always welcome. It is the gentle golden colour of a setting harvest sun; the warmth of a squeezed embrace; the easy melting of two souls into one and a taste that lingers even when everything else has melted away. Once tasted it is never forgotten. – Jenny Colgan
Caramel, like navy, is that color that just works on anybody in any fashion. It’s classic and timeless, and has that certain level of sophistication. A peacoat, a wool cap, suede pumps, a belt, a weekender bag are just some examples. And like this outfit, a sweater and skirt combo.
One of the tricks I like to employ when I have no idea what to wear is to go monochromatic, meaning a similar color from head to toe. Something about dressing in one color makes you look extra put together.
This sweater is made of the softest material to ever grace this earth. I’m not kidding, it’s so comfy. And the little heart patches on the elbows make it extra sweet. I belted it over a layered mesh skirt, and paired it with suede pumps that match the flower motif for a winning outfit.
