Green is the prime color of the world, and that from which its loveliness arises. – Pedro Calderon de la Barca
Green, green, I pink up the phone and say “Yellow!” Did anyone ever say that as a kid? No, just me? Well, we’ve come to the second quintessential color of the season: GREEN. It’s my favorite color and already occupies half my closet. So was there any chance I was going to pass up adding another green skirt to my wardrobe? Nope.
This is seriously my new favorite skirt. I’ve already worn it out twice since purchasing it. I know that doesn’t sound like a whole lot, but we’re still in the middle of a pandemic, and recently went into lockdown again, so two times is PLENTY.
I love the fit of the cinched waist and midi swing skirt. There’s also adjustable straps that cross in the back, and the all important POCKETS. I will never not rave about pockets.
I’m not sure high-waisted is the right term, because it goes HIGH. It’s more like underbust..? And I’m totally digging it. It’s an old school style, and I feel like a schoolgirl again (even though I never actually wore anything like this when I was in school..lol) But especially with the bow in my hair, courtesy of the ribbon mask (available in my Etsy store!)
