Wrapped Up Like a Present With Nowhere to Go

Ok I’m not going to lie, I love me a good cape. In any and all forms. Capelets, cape coats, shawls, cloaks, the superhero kind, and even the “I’m going on a long journey” type. You know what I’m talking about.

This one takes the cake for the holiday season. It works as a coat, looks like a dress, and gets tons of comments from people trying to figure out which it is. You’ll be the talk of the party, wrapped up like a present.

I love how it’s designed. The right side has a slit for your arm, and it crosses over the front to button on the left. The black belt loops around the back, but on the inside, and ties in the front, cinching it to your body. It’s quite a unique design.

The cape coat is a statement piece all on its own, so I kept everything else all black to let it shine. Black shorts over sheer black tights, and completed with thigh high boots.
