One of the tricks I like to employ when I have no idea what to wear is to go monochromatic, meaning a similar color from head to toe. Something about dressing in one color makes you look extra put together.
Prints like plaid, tartan, and buffalo check are all easy to pull off and perfectly fitting for the season. How do you wear your plaid?

So for a while, (early 2000s, anyone?) velvet/velveteen/velour was considered tacky and tasteless. But it’s made a resurgence over the past couple years to much better reception. Do you agree?
